As Bike Night became more popular, it became a great way to raise money to assist with travel expenses for people battling cancer. In 2008, $3,862.95 was raised! We contacted Mirabito Fuel Group...and explained what we are doing...they offered a 3% discount on fuel. With that money and some of the money raised this year, we sent out 41 $100 gas cards to assist people with their travel expenses.
As of September 2009, fifty-two $100 gas cards went out to help people with their travel expenses during their battle with cancer. The 2009 season raised over $5000 at Bike Night to help obtain these gas cards.
In 2010, over $4,000 was raised, bringing our total from the past three years to $14,437.
